General troubleshooting
Install the latest version
Open the store listing and install any pending update. Most reported problems are already fixed in a newer build.
Restart the app
Close it from the app switcher rather than just returning to the home screen, then open it again.
Restart the device
A restart clears issues caused by low memory, background processes or an interrupted update.
Check your connection
Features that need the internet — purchases, restoring, downloading content — will not complete on an unstable connection.
Update iOS or Android
Running a current operating system version avoids incompatibilities that only appear on older releases.
Check available storage
Saving, exporting and downloading all need free space on the device.
Purchases
Purchases in Starfleet: Command Deck are tied to the store account that made them — your Apple Account on iOS or your Google account on Android — rather than to the device itself.
- Make sure the device is signed in to the same store account you used for the purchase.
- If a purchase was charged but did not unlock, close and reopen the app once — receipts sometimes arrive a moment later.
- Billing, receipts and refunds are handled by Apple and Google. Use Report a Problem in the App Store, or your order history in Google Play.
Reporting a problem
The more of the following you can include, the faster a problem can be reproduced and fixed:
- the app name — Starfleet: Command Deck
- your device model
- your iOS or Android version
- the app version
- what happened, and what you expected instead
- the steps that lead to it, if it happens repeatedly
- a screenshot or screen recording, where it helps
The Contact Support button on this page opens an email with these fields already laid out.
Finding your app and device details
- Android — the app version is in Settings → Apps → Starfleet: Command Deck → App details; your device model and Android version are in Settings → About phone.
Reinstalling
Reinstalling replaces damaged files, but it also removes anything Starfleet: Command Deck has stored locally that has not been backed up. Try the steps above first, and get in touch before reinstalling if you are unsure.
